Join ESPN Films and Rooftop Films at Citi Field on Friday, September 3, 2021 for a special free, premiere presentation of the first two parts of ESPN’s much-anticipated new documentary about one of the most wild and fascinating baseball teams of all time--the World Champion 1986 Mets. The screening is free with RSVP and will be preceded by a conversation with director Nick Davis and special guests Mookie Wilson (’86 Mets outfielder) & Bobby Ojeda (’86 Mets pitcher), plus the first 1,000 guests in attendance will get a free beverage, courtesy of Rooftop and ESPN Films.

How will it work?

Using your RSVP, our team will check in all patrons by last name at will call. Before your arrival, we will ask you to make sure you can answer “no” to all of the CDC’s COVID-19 safety screening questions. Upon arrival, we will be checking proof of full vaccination. Children under the age of 12 will not be admitted. Masks are strongly recommended for children 12 and up. Masks will be required while interacting with event staff. The screening will take place inside the ballpark, with audience members sitting in the stands as the program is broadcast on the Citi Vision Board !

Can I bring food and drinks?

No outside food, drink, or alcohol allowed. Minimal food and drink concessions will be available for purchase.

I’m vaccinated, do I need to wear a mask?

All attendees and staff are required to wear a mask while interacting. You will also be reminded of the mandatory safety measures via email and on screen.

Where will the screening take place at Citi Field?

The screening will take place inside the ballpark, with audience members sitting in the stands as the program is broadcast on the Citi Vision Board!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

If arriving by subway, take the 7 train to Mets-Willets Point and walk to the Jackie Robinson Rotunda (41 Seaver Way, Flushing, NY 11368). Due to the US Open parking will not be available for guests of the screening.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It is not necessary to print your ticket. Our team will check the name on your RSVP at will call.
