New York Mets Ticket Policies for Impacted Games
We are pleased for the collective bargaining agreement between Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association. We are excited to turn our focus back to the field for a full 162-game schedule beginning with Mets Opening Day which is now scheduled for Friday, April 15 at 1:10 p.m. We have made updates to our ticket policy to reflect the changes to the MLB schedule. Mets Opening Day at Citi Field has been rescheduled for Friday, April 15 at 1:10 p.m. Fans holding tickets for the original Opening Day date can use their ticket for admission for this game. Digital tickets will automatically be updated within your MLB Ballpark app.
Tickets for the original game scheduled for Friday, April 15 at 7:10 p.m. are now valid for admission to the rescheduled game on Saturday, August 6 at 1:10 p.m. This will be the first game of a separate admission doubleheader that day. These tickets will not be valid for admission to Mets Opening Day. Digital tickets will automatically be updated within your MLB Ballpark app. In addition, ticket holders for this game will receive a digital voucher loaded onto their My Mets Tickets account redeemable for any remaining 2022 regular season home game (excluding April 15 vs. the Diamondbacks, July 9 vs. the Marlins, July 26-27 vs. the Yankees and August 27 vs. the Rockies). Digital vouchers will be redeemable beginning Monday, March 21 at 10 a.m.

Mets Season Ticket Holders will be notified shortly via email of the opportunity to purchase their seats for designated games within their ticket plan. Tickets for the final three (3) rescheduled games vs. the Nationals will be on sale to the general public shortly at Mets.com/Tickets.
April 2-5 Games
At this time the following 2022 Mets regular season home games are considered impacted and the below ticket information addresses these games. All ticket management actions for tickets for impacted games, including Ticket Forwarding, will be canceled. These tickets will be removed from your account and are no longer valid for admission.

- 2022 Mets Season Ticket Holders (including Partial Plan Holders) with tickets for impacted games originally scheduled from April 2 through April 5 will receive credit for all payments made towards these games in their 2022 Season Ticket package. Credit is valid towards the following:
- Group and individual tickets to 2022 or 2023 ticketed regular season home games at Citi Field, subject to availability (Blackout dates may apply)
- 2023 Season Ticket package
- Accounts that wish to receive a refund instead of a credit for tickets to impacted games originally scheduled from April 2 through April 5 can submit an online request via their My Mets Tickets account beginning on Thursday, March 3 at 10 a.m. Refund requests for impacted games can be submitted until October 31, 2022.
- Group ticket purchasers for any impacted games originally scheduled from April 2 through April 5 will receive credit for all payments made toward these games. Credit is valid toward the following:
- Tickets to 2022 or 2023 ticketed regular season home games at Citi Field, subject to availability (Blackout dates may apply)
- A Mets Sales Representative will reach out to Group Leaders to rebook their outing for another 2022 regular season home game, subject to availability.
- Accounts that wish to receive a refund instead of a credit for tickets to impacted games originally scheduled from April 2 through April 5 can submit an online request via their My Mets Tickets account beginning on Thursday, March 3 at 10 a.m. Refund requests for impacted games can be submitted until October 31, 2022.
- Fans who purchased single game tickets via Mets.com or 718-507-TIXX for any impacted games originally scheduled from April 2 through April 5 will receive credit for all payments made toward these games. Credit is valid toward the following:
- Tickets to 2022 or 2023 ticketed regular season home games at Citi Field, subject to availability (Blackout dates may apply)
- Accounts that wish to receive a refund instead of a credit for tickets to impacted games originally scheduled from April 2 through April 5 can submit an online request via their My Mets Tickets account beginning on Thursday, March 3 at 10 a.m. Refund requests for impacted games can be submitted until October 31, 2022.
- All complimentary ticket voucher redemption for the 2022 season will resume on Monday, March 21 at 10 a.m.
- Fans who redeemed vouchers for impacted games will automatically be credited new ticket voucher(s) which can be redeemed via their My Mets Tickets account.
- All other complimentary tickets and those marked “NO RAINCHECK” have no value and are not eligible for credit or exchange.
- Tickets are subject to availability and ticket policies set forth by the New York Mets.
- Fans with paid individual or group tickets for impacted games looking to utilize credit for 2023 regular season home games can begin applying their credit when 2023 tickets go on-sale. A 2023 ticket on-sale date will be communicated at a later date.
- Ticket availability and ticket usage at Citi Field are subject to all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines including those that address COVID-19 and health & safety.
- Those who have purchased tickets from any other party, besides the Mets, should contact that party directly to determine their policies.
- Ticket policies are subject to revision, and should circumstances or policies change further, the Mets will provide further information at that time.
