Everything you need to know about Mets 2025 tickets

December 25th, 2024

NEW YORK -- The 2024 Mets brought “OMG,” Grimace and more to Citi Field. What will the 2025 Mets bring?

Next year should be another fascinating one for the Mets, who will enter the season with sky-high expectations behind Juan Soto and their other offseason signings. Those interested to see how it all shakes out can begin making plans now. Single-game tickets went on sale earlier this month -- in a convenient coincidence, the day after Soto signed.

Some key dates to keep in mind:

  • After a week on the road, the Mets will play their home opener April 4 against the Blue Jays at Citi Field. That will also be Soto’s first home game in Flushing.
  • The defending World Series champion Dodgers will be in town May 23-25. Last year, the Dodgers swept the Mets at Citi in a series that wound up transforming New York’s season.
  • Fourth of July weekend is going to be massive. The Mets and Yankees will play three consecutive matinees that weekend, including a 3:10 p.m. ET start on July 4 with Soto facing his old team. Buy some extra popcorn for those ones.
  • Unofficially, the Mets will retire David Wright’s No. 5 before a July 19 game against the Reds. Only a small number of tickets remain available.
  • The Mets only have one homestand over the final month of the season, but it’s a long one from Sept. 12-21. Playoff implications could abound in those series against the Rangers, Padres and Nationals.
