Play Ball Weekend | June 14

The Play Ball initiative is baseball’s collective effort to encourage young people and communities to engage in baseball or softball related activities.

The Mets celebrated Play Ball Weekend on June 14 by hosting a wiffle ball tournament for children ages 8-9 at Citi Field. Registration was free and each participant received a t-shirt and a bat and ball set.
