July 14: RHP exits with injury after one batter
Stanek came into the bottom of the eighth of Sunday’s game in Anaheim looking to protect a 2-0 lead but issued a four-pitch walk to the first batter he faced and came up grimacing. After talking to the trainer and manager Scott Servais, he left the game and was replaced by Austin Voth.

Afterward, Servais said Stanek was dealing with back spasms, and did not provide further information on tests or a timeline.

July 12: RHP activated from 15-day IL; RHP optioned to Triple-A Tacoma
As expected, Woo was activated from the injured list to make the start on Friday night in Anaheim, giving the right-hander one last start prior to the All-Star break.

A "low-level" right hamstring strain suffered during his June 24 start against the Rays forced Woo out of action. That setback came after the dynamic 24-year-old missed the season's first six weeks with right medial elbow inflammation.

Bazardo 28, returns to Tacoma after making 13 appearances with Seattle, posting a 6.62 ERA (13 ER in 17 2/3 innings), including two scoreless frames in the Mariners' 11-0 win over the Angels on Thursday night.

July 10: OF (right adductor strain) placed on 10-day injured list; OF recalled from Triple-A Tacoma
One day after the Mariners' corner outfielder exited Tuesday's game to begin the top of the fifth, he was placed on the IL. Canzone was in the process of undergoing an MRI as the Mariners were taking the field for Wednesday's series finale in San Diego.

He first suffered the injury when making a diving catch in Sunday's loss in Seattle. This is the second time this season that he's been on the IL, after suffering a left AC joint sprain on April 14 that sidelined him for one month. For the season, he's slashed .211/.289/.394 (.683 OPS) with seven homers and 14 RBIs.

In his stead, even against righties, the Mariners will likely turn heavily to utility man Dylan Moore, especially in left field -- as they did Wednesday. It's unclear how long Canzone will be sidelined.

In a corresponding move, Clase -- the Mariners' No. 10 prospect by MLB Pipeline -- rejoined the club for his third stint this season. At Tacoma, he's slashed .274/.373/.483 (.856 OPS) with 10 homers. In the Majors, it's been .176/.200/.206 (.406 OPS) in 35 plate appearances.

10-DAY/15-DAY INJURED LIST

LHP (left rotator cuff strain)
Expected return: After the All-Star break
Speier threw 14 pitches in a rehab appearance with Triple-A Tacoma on July 12, allowing two hits and a walk in an inning of work.

“It went well. The [velocity] was a tick down than what we are used to seeing,” Mariners manager Scott Servais said. “Which is very normal, since it’s been almost six weeks since he’s been out there.”

Speier will have another throwing session in Arizona soon and the team will gauge the likelihood of him returning to the active roster following the All-Star break. The goal is to have him for the first series of the second half against Houston.

“With the left-handed hitters they have,” Servais said, “it would be pretty valuable.” (Last updated: July 13)

OF Dominic Canzone (right adductor strain)
Expected return: After the All-Star break
Canzone suffered the injury when making a diving catch on July 7, then he attempted to play through it before the pain became pronounced enough to be pulled in their next game, on July 9 in San Diego. This is the second time this season that he's been on the IL, after suffering a left AC joint sprain on April 14 that sidelined him for one month. (Last updated: July 10)

60-DAY INJURED LIST

RHP (right elbow inflammation)
Expected return:
June 2025
Brash is out of the protective brace that he'd been wearing since undergoing Tommy John surgery on May 8 and remains in Arizona recovering. He may join the Mariners in and out in Seattle throughout the remainder of the season. Brash's surgery ended his 2024 season, three months after initially experiencing soreness during his second bullpen session in Spring Training. Brash had the ulnar collateral ligament in his pitching elbow repaired and a brace installed, which has typically allowed patients to begin physical therapy sooner. That's why the Mariners are hopeful Brash can return in 12 months, potentially as soon as June 2025. (Last updated: June 12)

OF/UTL (torn right Achilles)
Expected return: May 2025
Haggerty tore his right Achilles on May 18, in his second game after getting optioned back to Triple-A Tacoma, and he underwent surgery with Dr. Albert O. Gee at the University of Washington the following week. He then departed for Arizona shortly after to transition his recovery there. Before leaving Seattle, Haggerty mentioned in passing that his timeline would be around 12 months if all goes well with his subsequent rehab. (Last updated: June 12)

RHP (right UCL surgery)
Expected return: 2025
Kowar was transferred to the 60-day IL shortly after receiving word that he would need to undergo Tommy John surgery, which ended his season before it even began. The former first-round Draft pick was among the leading candidates to win a bullpen spot before suffering the injury in his second Cactus League outing. (Last updated: March 10)
