1883 - John B. Day and Jim Mutrie establish the New York Gothams Baseball Club, "The Gotham Club."

1885 - After a staggering win, Mutrie applauds the Gothams: "My big fellows, my giants!" The New York Gothams become the New York Giants.

1958 - Horace Stoneham moves the Giants west to San Francisco.

2013 - The Gotham Club returns.
