THE GIANT LAUNCHÂ
This week at the field, you will be participating in a S.T.E.M focused activity with your team called The Giant Launch. You and your teammates will take turns launching your squishy baseball across the field and ultimately learn how S.T.E.M plays a role in baseball & softball. Here are some important words you will learn:Â
- Trajectory: The path an object (ball) takes while moving through the air
- Matter: Anything that takes up space
- Mass: Measure of matter, usually in weight
- Angle: The space between two lines that cross. This is usually measured in degrees.
