“Fight For Glory: 2024 World Series,” a three-part documentary coming soon to Apple TV+, promises to take viewers behind the scenes of the most magical and dramatic moments of the Fall Classic between the Dodgers and Yankees.

The first glimpse of the magic came Monday with the release of the trailer. Fans will be able to immerse themselves in the drama when the documentary -- directed by Emmy winner and Oscar nominee R.J. Cutler -- debuts on Apple TV+ on March 28.

Viewers will share in the thrill of victory -- or agony of defeat -- brought on by Freddie Freeman’s instantly unforgettable Game 1 walk-off grand slam, the first in Series history. They’ll get up close with Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani and relive the nerve-pounding uncertainty after he was hurt on a stolen-base attempt in Game 2.

They’ll feel the desperation as the Yankees gave themselves a glimmer of hope with a Game 4 win spurred by Morristown, N.J., native Anthony Volpe's grand slam.

And they’ll be transported onto the field as the Dodgers, Series winners in five games, unleashed a Hollywood-style celebration in the Bronx. The Dodgers popped championship champagne in the visitors' locker room for the fourth time in 59 years while their hometown fans reveled in the glory 2,800 miles away.

Five-time World Series champion Derek Jeter and Oscar-winning director Ron Howard, both credited as executive producers, are among the luminaries involved in the documentary. The series premiere coincides with MLB’s Opening Week, with 14 games set for March 27 and nine more set for March 28 (including Orioles-Blue Jays and Mets-Astros in the first 2025 edition of Friday Night Baseball on Apple TV+).

The documentary was produced for Apple TV+ in partnership with MLB Studios and Howard’s and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Documentaries.
