Chaitali Gala Mehta is the Chief Operating Officer of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) where she manages internal operations resulting in seamless programming impacting thousands of children and families. She joined LADF in 2014 as the Director of Grants and Strategic Partnerships. In this role, she built the foundation's comprehensive grantmaking program, which has supported more than 250 grantees and partners to date. Additionally, she establishes and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders to raise the visibility of LADF as a strong charitable partner.
Before joining LADF, Chaitali was the Director of Cause Marketing for the nonprofit After-School All-Stars, leading all national marketing and communication efforts and corporate partnerships. Prior to After-School All-Stars, Chaitali served as Director of Corporate Partnerships and Special Events for LA's Promise, a local school turnaround nonprofit, directing all corporate fundraising initiatives and special events to increase annual funding for South LA public schools.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Akshay, and their daughter, Layla.
