Yoenis Cespedes earned an RBI on a popup that literally bounced off the first-base bag

Yoenis Céspedes has a flair for the dramatic. Everybody knows that. Home runs, barehanded, kneeling outfield grabs, insane throws, there's nothing he can't do on the diamond.
He can even, apparently, get himself involved in odd, you-probably-haven't-seen-this-before plays that arise out of the mere circumstance of him standing at the dish.
The eighth inning of the Mets' 5-1 win over the Phillies on Friday night provided the context for this wacky sequence in which his popup toward Ryan Howard at first base bounced off the bag, caromed into foul territory, plated a run and allowed the Phillies to nab the forceout on José Reyes at second base:

Got that? Cespedes earned an RBI on this fielder's choice, which is technically the term for what happened at the first-base bag after the ball refused to come into contact with Reyes, Howard's glove, or foul territory. Instead, it plopped down right in the middle of the base, and Cespedes picked up a line-drive RBI in the box score.
Yo knows RBIs, no matter how he gets 'em.
