Taylor Swift is playing Nationals Park and no one's more excited than Bryce Harper

Bryce Harper is excited for Taylor Swift concert

Some of you might be aware of the fact that Taylor Swift recently released a new album, 1989 -- her third straight release to top the Billboard 200 chart and her third straight release to sell a million copies in its first week.

On the heels of 1989, Swift has announced a global tour she'll kick off in the spring. Among the dates listed are a series of shows at outdoor venues and arenas known for hosting professional sporting events, including a few Major League Baseball stadiums.

During the American leg of the tour, Swift plans to play a show at Nationals Park in the Southeast quadrant of DC ... and no one's more excited than Bryce Harper.

The only problem with Harper being all jazzed about the show is that it's scheduled for Monday, July 13, 2015 and we're hoping he'll be a bit preoccupied with a little event we like to call the Home Run Derby.

Swift will also play Petco Park in San Diego and the Rogers Centre in Toronto. No word on whether or not Joey Bats is, like, totally stoked to take in that show.
