Rays bring DJ to camp and Jamey Wright requests the 'Grease 2' soundtrack

It's hard for ballplayers to be enthusiastic and funny at 8 a.m.

But that's exactly what video crews need during Spring Training when they're getting footage to use throughout the year in commercials and on stadium video boards. So the Rays took drastic measures to ensure that they created a lively environment. They brought in a DJ.

DJ Fresh, aka Doug Hensel, took requests from players as they posed for the camera and answered questions about their hidden talents and favorite movie scenes. The former bat boy handles the turntables during Friday home games at Tropicana Field and was happy to make the trip to Port Charlotte, Fla.

As each player entered the room, DJ Fresh asked what kind of music they wanted him to play. When he asked 17-year veteran Jamey Wright, the reliever paused for a moment before responding with a brilliant deadpan delivery: "Could you cue up that 'Grease 2' soundtrack?"

Fortunately for everyone in the room, Fresh didn't have that one in his library.
