Nick Castellanos celebrates turning 23 by hitting a home run
Nick Castellanos celebrates turning 23 with a dinger
Everyone knows the ancient proverb that says, "Nobody likes you when you're 23." It's a simple fact of life. But most people don't know that it comes with a lesser-known caveat: "Unless you're a professional baseball player and you hit a home run on the day you turn 23 years old."
Lucky for Nick Castellanos he did just that in Wednesday's Spring Training game against the Orioles.
Castellanos' two-run dinger came in the 5th inning, setting the Tigers on their way to a 5-4 victory over the O's. That's quite the present to give himself.
So happy birthday, Nick. Enjoy being 23 years old as a home run-hitting MLB player, even if you're not feeling 22 anymore.
