Rockies prospect (and Nolan Arenado's cousin!) Josh Fuentes was up to bat in the eighth inning of Friday's Hartford Yard Goats-Binghamton Rumble Ponies game when he decided to show off his sense of humor.
Rumble Ponies pitcher Cory Burns slipped a little in his delivery, and his pitch bounced in the infield grass and rolled away. Fuentes swung at it anyway -- you know, just a friendly joke. But guess what? The swing counted, and Fuentes was out:
Has there ever been a more perfect time to say, "too real"? The Yard Goats went on to lose to the Rumble Ponies, 5-4.
