Justin Verlander took some creative liberties to make his own holiday-themed wrapping paper

Justin Verlander was wrapping up his presents on Friday night when he encountered a problem: He had some wrapping paper that was decidedly not holiday-themed. Unfortunately, Verlander didn't realize until it was too late:

Hm. That's a problem. He wouldn't want his gift recipients thinking that he doesn't know it's Christmas. Or that he doesn't know when their birthday is and thinks it's on Christmas. Or that he originally got them these gifts for their birthday and then forgot to give it to them and is now recycling that gift for Christmas, wrapping paper and all. Or, worst of all, that he just doesn't care about the paper in which he wraps his gifts.
But don't worry. Verlander figured out a very simple way to turn Christmasify his wrapping paper:

Phew. That could've been embarrassing.
