Grapefruit League play isn't even 48 hours old, and the sun already ate a baseball
Wednesday marked the second day of Spring Training games in Florida and Arizona and … someone already lost a ball in the sun. That someone is Justin Upton:
Upton signed a six-year, $132.75 million contract with the Tigers in the offseason to join an already potent lineup touting the likes of Miguel Cabrera, Victor Martinez (who already has a home run in Grapefruit League play) and Ian Kinsler (who also already has a home run in Grapefruit League play).
It still being early in Spring Training, we're gonna err on the side of caution and posit that Upton and Co. will all have a wrangle on just how to handle the sun by the time Opening Day rolls around.
