Bryce Harper walked up to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song in his first Phillies at-bat
The Bryce Harper era in Philly has officially begun. In his very first trip to the plate as a Phillie on Saturday afternoon against the Blue Jays, Harper worked himself a walk before Philadelphia icon Rhys Hoskins brought him home on an absolutely demolished tater way deep to left.
While Harper's first at-bat didn't feature any particular fireworks, his spot-on choice of walk-up music was the perfect way to introduce himself to the Philadelphia faithful.

To be clear this wasn't a lucky moment of serendipity, the iconic Fresh Prince tune didn't randomly come on as Harper strolled to the dish. No, that was Bryce's idea all the way, which is totally awesome. Maybe next time he'll walk up to "Fly Eagles Fly" to really send Philly into joyous chaos.
