Frank Viola switches roles, become a fan for Olympic diving daughter

Frank Viola was a 176-game winner in the big leagues, maybe best known for his MVP performance with the Twins in the 1987 World Series.

So why wouldn't his daughter be an Olympic-caliber athlete?

Viola, now a coach with the Mets' Class A Savannah Sand Gnats, took some time off this week to watch his daughter dive in London. Brittany competed in the 10-meter platform dive preliminaries on Thursday and placed 15th but did not qualify for the semi-final.
