The Dodgers did not hesitate to troll Madison Bumgarner back at Dodger Stadium
The longtime rivalry between the Dodgers and Giants has undergone a bit of a renaissance in 2019, thanks in no small part to Max Muncy and Madison Bumgarner. After the Giants ace yelled at Muncy as he rounded the bases on a homer at Oracle Park back on June 9, Muncy provided an incredible postgame quote about fishing the blast out of the ocean.
Days later, the quote was turned into a T-shirt, so it was inevitable that the Dodgers would be ready for Bumgarner when he stepped on their turf. It was his turn in the Giants' rotation on Thursday night in Los Angeles, and Dodger Stadium let him have it.
The video board had an appropriate fun fact for Muncy when he faced Bumgarner.

Organist Dieter Ruehle performed nautical hits throughout Bumgarner's outing like "Under the Sea" and "Cake by the Ocean." He also had a "splash" sound effect ready to go and played it before Muncy hit.

The real damage, however, came from the Dodgers' bats, which were relentless against the veteran lefty. They tallied a quick run in the first, and in the fourth, Kyle Garlick and Austin Barnes provided the pop with a pair of homers.

Bumgarner coughed up four more hits after the long balls, and his day was done. The final damage: six runs on 10 hits and a walk over just 3 2/3 innings.
Well played, Dodgers. Well played.
