David Ortiz was made an honorary captain and led the Patriots onto the field on Sunday

At the Patriots home opener on Sunday, and before the Red Sox take on the Yankees in the Sunday night game, Ortiz was there -- in his customary No. 34 no less. He was then honored with a tribute video:
Finally, he got to lead the team onto the field as an honorary team captain. Only difference: He was now wearing Tom Brady's No. 12.

With Ortiz retiring from baseball at the end of the year, we can only hope that this is the start of his Patriots career. He could at least star on special teams, right?
