Carlos Gomez is a balloon-popping agent of chaos
There's no stopping Carlos Gomez. The outfielder, who is currently playing for the Mets' Triple-A team in Syracuse, has done things on the baseball field that you've likely never seen before. He's fallen like a toy soldier after a hit-by-pitch, he's come up with a new interpretive dance around the bases and ... he's done this.
On Wednesday, he was a menace to that least menacing thing of all: a balloon. This temporal, glimmering creation of air was just minding its own when Gomez decided it was time to take drastic action: He popped the sucker.
The @SyracuseMets Carlos Gomez just couldn’t resist... sorry @LouisvilleBats! @MiLB @Mets pic.twitter.com/jjKzPL8QeC

Let this be a lesson to everyone: Keep your balloons away from Gomez.
