Set your nostalgia meters to stun: The Brooklyn Cyclones will wear "Ren and Stimpy" jerseys
Time travel may not be possible (at least, that's what the Man wants you to think), but thanks to Minor League Baseball teams, you may not have ever left the 1990s. The Frederick Keys celebrated "Hey Arnold!" night, the Fresno Grizzlies honored "Good Burger," and the Sacramento River Cats paid homage to "Legends of the Hidden Temple." If you thought, "well, there certainly can't be any shows left to mine," you're oh so wrong. For on Aug. 10, the Brooklyn Cyclones will honor the gross-out legacy of the Nickelodeon classic cartoon, "Ren and Stimpy."
When the Class A affiliate of the Mets takes on the Vermont Lake Monsters (brief aside, that's one of the very best MiLB team names out there), the Cyclones will don Stimpy uniforms while the Lake Monsters will wear Ren's face, complete with his four squiggly hairs.

Not just that, the Cyclones will also be handing out Ren and Stimpy bobbleheads to bring the TV show to your mantel:

At this rate, we're only a few promotions away from a "Freakazoid," "Hammerrman," or "Life with Louie" night.
