Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield hit a Little League home run in the California Strong softball game
On Sunday, Malibu residents and 2018 Brewers teammates Christian Yelich, Ryan Braun and Mike Moustakas hosted the California Strong Celebrity Softball Game to raise money for the victims of the California wildfires and the mass shooting in nearby Thousand Oaks, Calif.
The guest list was appropriately star-studded, featuring baseball talent like Justin Turner and Eric Hosmer, celebrities like Jamie Foxx and Adam Sandler and other athletes including ex-Indiana Pacer Reggie Miller and Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. Mayfield is no stranger to playing on Sundays, so of course he brought his A-game:

While that may appear to be a harmless popup, you can see in the video above that Mayfield hustled out of the box and took advantage of some suspect fielding to make it all the way around the bases. He capped his home run off with a nifty leap at home plate to avoid the tag and safely score.
It's safe to say that Mayfield has worked on his game in the months since he airmailed a first pitch at Progressive Field.
