Hosted by Torii Hunter (five-time All-Star, nine-time Gold Glove winner) and Gary Matthews Jr. (2006 All-Star), the event will take place Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at one of the finest golf courses in Southern California -- The Resort at Pelican Hill Newport Beach, California. The day will include breakfast, lunch and a silent auction/raffle.
All proceeds will benefit the MLB Youth Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
8:00 - 9:30 a.m.: Arrivals, registration, breakfast, warm-up, silent auction/raffle
9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Shotgun start
12:00 - 4:00 p.m.: Lunch and beverages served on Pelican Hill Golf Course

There are nine operational MLB Youth Academies in the country in the Bronx (New York), Cincinnati (Ohio), Compton (California), Dallas (Texas), Houston (Texas), Kansas City (Missouri), New Orleans (Louisiana), Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) and Washington (D.C.). Together, all Academies currently provide free year-round baseball and softball on-field training instruction, after-school tutoring and vocational programs to approximately 16,000 young men and women and over 25,000 more through additional tournaments and programs. More than 50 Academy alumni have been selected in the last five First-Year Player Drafts and nearly 165 overall.
