Honor the life and legacy of one of MLB’s all-time greats in this year’s Lou Gehrig Essay Contest.
Students in 12th grade or under are highly encouraged to write essays showcasing Gehrig’s perseverance, endurance, and overall impact on and off the field. Parents/legal guardians should submit their child/legal ward’s essay by May 29.
The top three essay writers will be recognized at American Family Field on June 2.
