American Family Field Security

Please review the American Family Field security policies regarding which items are permitted to be brought in for your next Brewers game.

Bag Policy

PERMITTED CLEAR SINGLE-COMPARTMENT BAGS 12" X 12" X 6" AND SMALLER, NON-CLEAR BAGS 9" x 5" x 2" AND SMALLER, OR ONE-GALLON CLEAR RESEALABLE BAGS

Exceptions will be made for diaper bags (maximum size: 16" x 16" x 8") and for ADA/medically necessary items.

PROHIBITED BAGS

ANY MULTI-COMPARTMENT OR NON-CLEAR BAGS LARGER THAN 9" X 5" X 2"

Banners

Fans are permitted to bring and display banners at American Family Field, provided the content displayed is pertinent to baseball; is not offensive; does not interfere with the game, broadcast of the game or other guests' enjoyment of the game; does not cover ballpark advertising or other signage; does not promote a commercial product or service and does not contain any language or illustration deemed inappropriate by Milwaukee Brewers management. Items such as poles, long-stem brooms, and/or sticks are prohibited. Banners may not be paraded through any part of American Family Field or hung-over railings. Approved banners and/or signs may be displayed between innings only.

Maximum banner size is 3' x 5'

Carry-in Policy

Fans are encouraged to limit their carry-in items in the interest of expediting the entry process for all fans. To enhance ballpark safety and expedite the security screening process. American Family Field is prohibiting multi-compartment bags and implementing a single-compartment bag policy. Non-clear bags 9” x 5” x 2” or smaller, clear single-compartment bags 12” x 12” x 6” or smaller, and one-gallon clear resealable bags will be allowed. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags (maximum size: 16” x 16” x 8”) and for ADA/medically necessary items.

All carry-in items are subject to inspection. For more information, please see the “Permitted Items” and “Prohibited Items” lists below.

Drones

Guests are prohibited from using or possessing unmanned aircraft and radio-controlled model aircraft in American Family Field or anywhere on or within the airspace of American Family Field property

Event Seating Policy

In order to ensure all our guests receive the full value of their ticket investment, only those persons with a ticket for a particular seat will be permitted to occupy that seat. Our staff checks tickets to safeguard each customer's investment in a ticketed seat. Individuals in an incorrect seat will be required to return to their ticketed seat location

Exit/Re-Entry

Guests may not exit and re-enter American Family Field using the same ticket. However, in the case of an emergency, please ask Brewers staff for assistance

Fan Screening

In accordance with MLB policy, all fans will be required to go through metal detector screening, via walkthrough and/or handheld detectors prior to being granted access to American Family Field. Non-clear bags 9” x 5” x 2” or smaller, clear single-compartment bags 12” x 12” x 6” or smaller, and one-gallon clear resealable bags will be allowed. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags (maximum size: 16” x 16” x 8”) and for ADA/medically necessary items.

Guests will be asked to remove keys and large metal objects prior to walking through the metal detectors. Guests are also encouraged to take prohibited items (including pocket knives) back to their vehicles. The Milwaukee Brewers will not offer accommodations for such items and are not responsible for items left behind in the screening areas. Permitted Items:

The following items will be permitted to be brought into American Family Field and will be subject to inspection at the screening areas:

  • Clear single-compartment bags 12" x 12" x 6" or smaller
  • Non-clear bags 9" x 5" x 2" or smaller
  • One-gallon clear sealable bags
  • Non-alcoholic sealed plastic bottles (32 ounces or smaller/one per person)
  • Personal size food items (e.g., a sandwich, small bags of pretzels, piece of fruit)
  • Strollers, Wheelchairs, Umbrellas

Prohibited Items:

The following items are not allowed to be brought into American Family Field and will be subject to inspection at the screening areas:

  • Aerosol Cans (sunscreen, hairspray, etc.)
  • Alcohol, CBD or illegal substances
  • All Backpacks, regardless of size or style
  • Any Multi-Compartment Bags*
  • Brooms/Broomsticks/Poles
  • Camera Lenses (exceeding 8 inches in length)
  • Cans and/or Glass/Metal Containers (including Yeti type bottles, tumblers, and thermos)
  • Coolers (Hard and Soft-Sided)
  • Drawstring Bags and Tote Bags (non-clear)
  • Full-Sized Baseball Bats
  • Laser Pointers
  • Monopods and Tripods
  • Noise Makers (including whistles)
  • Non-Factory Sealed Plastic Bottles
  • Pepper Spray
  • Pets (except for service animals or during specific promotions)
  • Stainless Steel Reusable Drinking Straws
  • Throwing Items (with the exception of a baseball for autograph purposes only)
  • Tote Bags
  • Open or concealed weapons/firearms (including pocket knives), except in your locked motor vehicle

Security

American Family Field provides a safe, family-friendly environment. Milwaukee Brewers event staff and Milwaukee Police officers are readily available to assist fans throughout the premises. If security is needed, please notify the nearest Brewers staff member or text security. For details, please see "Text to Security" below

Tailgating

Fans are welcome to tailgate prior to games at American Family Field. For more information, please visit brewers.com/Tailgating.

Text to Security

Fans may report misconduct by texting CREW followed by a space, then their seat/ballpark location and specific concern to 41835. Milwaukee Brewers personnel will monitor and dispatch the appropriate staff to respond. Should further information be required, stadium personnel will respond via a text message or call. Participation in this service is free of charge, but standard carrier text messaging and data charges will apply. Text STOP to 41835 to be removed from any list.
