Braves A-List FAQ
Ticket Packages vs. Gate GiveawaysInterested in Specialty Ticket Packages and Gate Giveaways listed on our Promotions Calendar? Read below for important information on obtaining these promotions alongside your A-List Membership.
What are the differences between a gate giveaway item and a specialty ticket package item?
Gate giveaway items are complimentary items given to a set number of fans that enter the ballpark as the gates open the day of the game. They are indicated as “gate giveaway” on the Braves promotional calendar at braves.com/promotions.
Alternatively, a specialty ticket package is a package fans can purchase that includes a ticket to the game and a voucher for a specialty item or experience. On many occasions, a donation to an organization associated with the package is also included. Specialty ticket packages can also be found at braves.com/promotions, and include specific messaging that the item or experience mentioned comes with the purchase of a specialty ticket package with the verbiage “ticket offer.”
I have the game already in my Membership, are gate giveaway items and special ticket package items included?
No.
For gate giveaway items, you will need to be one of the first established number of people through the gates to receive the item. The number of items to be distributed at the gates is listed on the promotional calendar at braves.com/promotions. Items cannot be held and/or reserved.
For specialty ticket packages, you would need to purchase the specific ticket package in order to receive the item. When you purchase the package, you will receive a voucher with details on how to redeem your item or experience.
Can I exchange into a game in order to have a chance to receive a gate giveaway item?
Yes, as long as it is an exchangeable date. You will need to be one of the first established number of people through the gates to collect the item.
Can I exchange into a game to obtain a specialty ticket package item?
No, exchanges into a specialty ticket package are not possible. But, you can exchange your membership ticket for that game into another exchangeable date. And, purchase the specialty ticket package for the specific date of the package you want. Please note, if you exchange your membership ticket and purchase a specialty ticket package for a game, your specialty ticket package game ticket will NOT include your A-List Member concessions discount or Added Value, if applicable. You will need to purchase the specialty ticket package in order to obtain the item in that package. The Braves service team’s recommendation is to purchase the lowest priced seating option, which is usually a great rate for the item. You can then gift the ticket to a friend or donate it to the Veterans Tickets Foundation through your online account manager while using the item voucher yourself.
As an A-List Member, can I just purchase the item in a special ticket package?
No, you would need to purchase the entire ticket package to obtain the item. In most cases, the specialty item is made and ordered uniquely for the package. Our recommendation is to purchase the lowest priced seating option, which is usually a great rate for the item. You can then gift the ticket to a friend or donate it to the Veterans Tickets Foundation through your online account manager while using the item voucher yourself.
What if I already have a ticket for that game included in my Membership, what would I do with the ticket in the ticket package?
Our recommendation is to purchase the lowest priced seating option, which is usually a great rate for the item. You can then gift the ticket to a friend or donate it to the Veterans Tickets Foundation while using the item voucher yourself.
Ok, I purchased the special ticket package, how can I get my item?
When you purchase the specialty ticket package, in addition to your game ticket you will receive a voucher to redeem for your item the day of the game. Items can only be redeemed the day of the game and will not be mailed or available for pick up at a later date. The item voucher will be in your MLB Ballpark app with the exact location within the ballpark for redemption.
