Batting Practice Experience FAQ

When does the experience start, and where do I report?
Guests participating in the Batting Practice Experience should report to the 1st Base Gate three (3) hours prior to first pitch. Guests who arrive after 1.5 hours prior to first pitch will not be allowed on the field. The 1st Base Gate is located on Battery Avenue and directly across from the Orange Parking Deck, near the Bobby Cox statue.

Where should I park?
Guests are encouraged to prepurchase parking in the Battery Red Deck or Braves Lot 29 to ensure early arrival for check-in at the 1st Base Gate. Visit braves.com/parking for more info.

From where do I get to watch Batting Practice?
Guests who have purchased the Batting Practice Experience will be escorted to a gated area on the warning track behind homeplate.

Can I purchase this experience on gameday?
If the Batting Practice Experience is not sold out in advance, day of game Batting Practice Experience tickets can be purchased at the ticket windows near the Right Field Gate. A-List Members and group leaders should contact their Braves ticket representative directly. The Braves recommend all fans buy Batting Practice Experience tickets in advance.

How old does a child have to be to need a ticket for this experience?
In accordance with our ticketing policy, children 3 and over will need a ticket to this experience.

Do children need to be accompanied by an adult?
All guests under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by at least one adult or guardian with their own paid Batting Practice Experience ticket. Everyone attending batting practice will need to have a paid Batting Practice Experience ticket.

Can my family watch me watch batting practice?
Due to the exclusivity of this experience, only guests who purchased the batting practice tickets will be given access to the field, which is an otherwise restricted area.

Can you accommodate guests with disabilities?
Of course. Please make our staff aware of your needs when you arrive to the 1st Base Gate.

What happens if batting practice does not take place?
If batting practice does not take place, whether it be due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be given a refund. If inclement weather occurs after this experience has begun and 30 minutes or more have elapsed, a refund will not be offered.

In the event Braves batting practice is cancelled, but the visiting team is still hitting, you will receive a refund, but also still be invited to go on the field to watch the visiting team take batting practice.

Do I need a game ticket to participate in this experience?
Every guest will need both a game ticket and a Batting Practice Experience ticket in order to enter Truist Park.

Can I request autographs while in this area?
We ask all Batting Practice Experience participants to refrain from requesting autographs. Autographs are at the player’s and coaches' discretion.

Can I take pictures while in this area?
Of course. Please feel free to take pictures while enjoying this experience.

Will I be able to see the entire Braves batting practice?
During an average experience, guests will see around 45-60 minutes of Braves batting practice.

If I am a fan of the visiting team, how much of their batting practice will I see?
On average during the allotted time, guests will see between 15-30 minutes of visiting team batting practice. Fans of the visiting team will not receive refunds if their team chooses not to participate in batting practice.

Can I exchange my "pass" with other members of my family and friends during batting practice so they can experience it as well?
"Passes" are non-transferable. Passes are only good for one person per pass per visit.

Do Braves A-List Members and group purchasers get a special offer for this experience?
Yes. Please contact your Braves ticket representative for more details.

Other Items of Note:
No eating, drinking or smoking is allowed within the Batting Practice Experience area. Cups of complimentary water will be provided on the field.
