Now Batting - Otto Loor

Hello! My name is Otto Loor, and I am from Bayamon, Puerto Rico. I graduated from Neumann University with a bachelor's degree in sports management. After college, I had the opportunity to work for Ripken Baseball and tour the U.S., putting on free baseball clinics for kids as part of the Chevy Tour. I was an instructor for two summers, and then I had the opportunity to work in Minor League Baseball with the Aberdeen IronBirds, Charlotte Stone Crabs and Charlotte Knights.

I played baseball until college. There I decided I wanted to contribute to the game in a different way. I discovered my love for teaching and helping others when I worked as an instructor for Ripken Baseball. I want to bring baseball back to life in Puerto Rico and help the unprivileged kids there get off the streets and into classrooms and playing baseball. For me, baseball is more than a sport; it's a way of life. Baseball is a way to connect with and unite people from different backgrounds and different cultures.

I am extremely excited to join B.A.T., spread awareness of the amazing concept that the Baseball Assistance Team is and be an asset to the amazing team they have here.
