Now Batting - Carlos Villavicencio
Hello! My name is Carlos Villavicencio, born and raised in West New York, New Jersey. I majored in exercise science at the School of Environmental & Biological Sciences at Rutgers University. Shortly a year after graduating, I was very fortunate to find a home within the Baseball Assistance Team. Growing up I saw my father root for the New York Yankees, so naturally I am a fan as well! The game alone has shown me to trust the process, that any obstacle can be overcome with perseverance.
I originally started as a caseworker, seeing one side of the whole operation, but now find myself working the finance aspect for this amazing organization. I owe much of my success to my parents, Jaime and Gloria Villavicencio, who raised me to persevere and strive to be a better version of myself each day. I thank them for teaching me the value in helping others when I can. Knowing that I am able to make an impact in the lives of the Baseball Family.
Joining the Baseball Assistance Team was a career opportunity I am very thankful to have. Being able to grow alongside the organization has helped me achieve new heights that I set for myself. The support from the team is something that can't go unnoticed. Everyone comes from a different background, but with the common goal in helping others. I look forward to my time here with the Baseball Assistance Team and can’t wait for any challenges that lie ahead!
