Facebook's digital-only live stream schedule continues this afternoon as the Rangers and A's conclude their three-game series in Oakland. The American League West matchup is one of 25 streaming broadcasts scheduled for 2018 as part of MLB's partnership with Facebook. 
Fans can catch the 3:35 p.m. ET contest at www.facebook.com/MLBLiveGames or by logging onto Facebook's MLB live page from their phones, tablets, smart TVs or other streaming devices. MLB Network will produce the game, with play-by-play announcer Rich Waltz, along with analysts Gary Matthews Jr. and former A's pitcher Dallas Braden, and field reporter Guy Haberman.

   What to know about the Rangers-A's game
   The A's have been the Majors' hottest team over the past two months, catapulting themselves not only into postseason contention, but into the hunt for the AL West title, which would be their first since 2013. Over the weekend, the A's took two of three games against the defending World Series champion Astros to continue their torrid pace. 
   Oakland thrives on power-hitting offense, sound and improved defense, capable but not overpowering starting pitching and a lights-out bullpen. It will look to continue its run behind veteran right-hander Edwin Jackson, who has proven to be reliable and effective since signing a Minor League contract on June 6. In his most recent outing last Friday, in which the A's defeated the Astros, Jackson gave up a pair of solo homers that snapped a 22 2/3-inning scoreless streak. 
   The A's offense will look to continue its dominant run against Rangers left-hander Mike Minor, who was scratched from his most recent start due to back tightness. Minor has won each of his last three starts and is 5-2 with a 3.53 ERA over his last 11 outings.
