Astros set to host Cleveland and Seattle, April 30-May 5
Highlights of the homestand include Star Wars Weekend, Dollar Dog Night, Kyle Tucker Jersey Giveaway and More
HOUSTON, Texas – The Astros return home for a six-game homestand, April 30-May 5, with three against the Cleveland Guardians and three against the Seattle Mariners.
The homestand begins with Dollar Dog Night, presented by Texas Chili Company and College Nights, presented by Planet Fitness during a three-game series against the Cleveland Guardians, April 30-May 2. Then as the Astros host AL West rival Seattle, May 3-5, they will celebrate Star Wars Weekend, presented by Topps. The weekend is packed with great giveaways, including a Kyle Tucker Space City Replica Jersey, presented by Houston Methodist, an Alex Bregman Space City Bobblehead, presented by Houston Methodist and a Space City Mesh Tote Bag, presented by Mustang CAT.
Single-game tickets are available for purchase for the homestand, along with a variety of Flex Plan options. From 3 to 15 games, fans can tailor a package that fits their schedule and budget best. Tuesday, April 30 – Astros vs. Cleveland Guardians: 7:10 p.m. CT
The Astros open up the six-game homestand with the first of three against the Guardians at 7:10 p.m. CT on Tuesday. The game will be televised on Space City Home Network and on English radio KBME 790 and Spanish radio TUDN 93.3.
Every Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park is Dollar Dog Night, presented by Texas Chili Company. Fans are treated to all-you-can-eat hot dogs that are just $1 each Tuesday home game during the season.
Tuesday is also HBCU Night, presented by Planet Fitness. The Astros will celebrate the legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities throughout the evening as alumni, staff and students from various HBCUs pay homage to these institutions. Activities include a pregame networking event in the Depot at Union Station and a pregame performance. The Networking event, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., gives participants a chance to learn from Astros executives and special guests during a moderated Q&A panel. Attendees will be able to meet with front office staff from various departments and learn about career opportunities and internship programs. Light food and beverage will be served. This event is open to all ticketed fans on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Wednesday, May 1 – Astros vs. Guardians: 7:10 p.m. CT
The series with the Guardians continues with game two on Wednesday at 7:10 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on Space City Home Network and on English radio KBME 790 and Spanish radio TUDN 93.3.
Wednesday, May 1 is Houston Colleges College Night, presented by Planet Fitness. Alumni, students, parents, faculty and fans are invited to show their school pride for any and all Houston colleges and universities at the game. The Astros will hold a networking event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. that gives participants a chance to learn from Astros executives and special guests during a moderated Q&A panel. Attendees will be able to meet with front office staff from various departments and learn about career opportunities and internship programs. Light food and beverage will be served. Thursday, May 2 is Texas and Louisiana College Night, presented by Planet Fitness. All alumni, students, parents, faculty and fans of all college and universities in Texas and Louisiana are invited to come out and show their school pride as the Astros finish up the series with the Guardians. The Astros will hold their third networking event of the week from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday. The event, which is open to all ticketed guests, gives participants a chance to learn from Astros executives and special guests during a moderated Q&A panel. Attendees will be able to meet with front office staff from various departments and learn about career opportunities and internship programs. Light food and beverage will be served.
In honor of Texas and Louisiana College Night, University of Texas women’s basketball coach Vic Schaefer will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Coach Schaefer attended Houston Lutheran High School and got his start in coaching as a high school coach at Milby High School in Houston. This past season he won his 400th career victory as the Longhorns defeated the University of Houston. The Longhorns had a successful 2023-24 season, going 33-5 and advancing to the Elite Eight.

Friday Night Fireworks presented by ConocoPhillips are set for postgame, featuring the musical theme Star Wars. Fireworks are subject to weather. In the event a show must be cancelled due to weather, refunds will not be granted.
