Rally All-Star Contest

EFFECTIVE DATE: These Rally All-Star Contest terms are effective as of July 12, 2021.

RALLY PROMOTION AND RULES: The terms below describe the parameters of the Rally All-Star Contest ("RAS"), which is part of the Promotion and apply to you if you enter RAS. As a reminder, the Promotion's Official Rules govern your participation in the Promotion and any of its Contests, subject to the below. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Section 4(D) will have the definitions set forth in the Promotion's Official Rules. In the event of a conflict between the Promotion's Official Rules and the terms of this Section 4(D), the terms of this Section 4(D) will govern with respect to how RAS entries are scored and prizes are awarded.

Description and Entry Period: RAS is an App Only Contest which invites participants to compete by submitting certain solicited predictions regarding outcomes of the 2021 All-Star Game Presented by Mastercard ("ASG"), scheduled to take place on July 13, 2021. The App will solicit predictions to be made during ASG (i.e., while ASG is in live play) ("Predictions") and track your submitted Predictions. When you submit five (5) consecutive Predictions, you will receive one (1) entry into RAS, provided that your Predictions are submitted in accordance with these rules, including the Deadline (as defined below). Although your entry is comprised of your five (5) consecutive Predictions (i.e., your initial Prediction and each of your four (4) subsequent Predictions), you are not required to submit Predictions in a particular sequence, and you are not required to submit Predictions at every available opportunity. For example, if, during the first inning, the App makes available or solicits Predictions for the first, second, and third player at-bats, you may submit a Prediction for the first player at-bat, then the third player at-bat, and you may avoid submitting any Prediction for the second at-bat (and submit further Predictions to reach five (5) during subsequent innings). The entry period for RAS will begin at the start of the ASG (approximately 7:30 pm ET on July 13, 2021) and end at the conclusion of the ASG. Registered Promotion participants must submit five (5) Predictions during the ASG and prior to the Deadline to receive an entry in RAS.

Entry Limit: You may receive multiple RAS entries by submitting multiple sets of five (5) consecutive Predictions. I.e., after you submit your initial set of five (5) Predictions, you may continue to submit additional Predictions; you will receive an additional entry for each set of five (5) consecutive Predictions submitted.

Prediction Deadline: You may change your RAS Predictions up until the following deadline, at which point your submitted Predictions will be "locked" for scoring purposes (the "Deadline"): the time of the start of the ASG event contemplated within the prompt. E.g., if the Prediction concerns the outcome of an inning, then the Deadline is the start of the applicable inning; if the Prediction concerns the outcome of an at-bat, then the Deadline is the start of the applicable batter’s turn at the plate. To be scored for competition purposes, your Predictions must be submitted and recorded by the Sponsor prior to the applicable Deadline. No points will be awarded for Predictions submitted or recorded after the applicable Deadline.

Prizing: RAS will feature one (1) cash Prize of $25,000, to be shared among the winners, as described in the "Winners" section below.

Scoring: RAS entries will be scored by Sponsor in accordance with the below.

  • Predictions will be scored immediately upon the conclusion of the applicable event.
  • Each RAS entry will earn one (1) point for each correct Prediction. The maximum number of points which may be earned for any single RAS entry is five (5).
  • In the event that, for any reason, a solicited Prediction concerns an ASG outcome or event which does not take place (e.g., a Prediction concerns a specific anticipated batter who has been replaced by a substitute batter), such Prediction will be void and will not be scored for purposes of RAS competition. In such event, the voided Prediction does not apply towards your entry. In other words, you must submit a new or additional Prediction in place of the voided one.
  • In the event that, for any reason, the ASG is suspended for the day (e.g., for severe weather), Sponsor will score the Predictions submitted and recorded up until the time of suspension. If the ASG is suspended and resumes play on a subsequent date, the resumed portion of the ASG and any associated Predictions will be void and will not be scored for purposes of RAS competition.
  • In the event that, after Sponsor has scored and issued points for any Prediction and the applicable ASG event outcome is changed, corrected, or otherwise adjusted by Major League Baseball (e.g., following an instant replay review), points awarded within RAS for the applicable Prediction will not be changed, corrected, or otherwise adjusted, even if such change, correction, or adjustment is anticipated by an RAS participant.
  • Sponsor reserves the right, but assumes no obligation, to correct and update RAS scores based on errors or irregularities in the tabulation, transmission, or publication of ASG outcomes or Prediction scores.

The decisions of Sponsor are final and binding with respect to RAS scoring and in all other RAS matters.

Winners: Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, each entrant who submitted an RAS entry which earned a score of at least three (3) (a "Winning RAS Entry") will win an equal share of the $25,000 cash Prize ("Share"), subject to the 5K Tiebreaker, as defined below. Limit one (1) Share per person. If no entry earns at least three (3) points, the Prize (and therefore Shares) will not be awarded. The "5K Tiebreaker" means that, in the event that more than 5,000 entrants have scored three (3) or more points, the 5,000 entrants who, according to Sponsor's records, submitted their Winning RAS Entries first will be deemed the winners. As an example of how Shares are calculated and awarded, if 2,000 entrants submit a Winning RAS Entry, the Prize will be equally divided among such entrants and each such entrant will receive a Share equal to $12.50.
