Play Ball! Minnesota High School Baseball All-Star Series

In 1975, a group of Minnesota high school baseball coaches created the Minnesota High School Baseball All-Star Series for the purpose of recognizing the best graduating seniors from the state.

In 2013, Play Ball! Minnesota became the naming partner of this prestigious event. Through a coach-led nomination process, senior baseball players are chosen for the all-star teams. Team rosters are comprised of players from all over Minnesota.

Play Ball! Minnesota is proud to partner with the Minnesota High School Baseball Coaches Association to present this first-class experience for the top senior players in Minnesota.

Many of Minnesota's legendary players have participated in this event. Tournament festivities include an opening banquet, opening ceremonies, games and closing ceremonies.


Play Ball! Minnesota High School Softball All-Star Series

Prior to the inaugural 1989 game, the Minnesota Coaches Association All-Star Committee in cooperation with The Minnesota Sports Federation developed the All-Star Series concept. The first series showcased 36 athletes playing in a two game series and was played in late June.

In 1992, the series format changed to include 60 athletes participating on four teams. In 1994 the series moved from the University of Minnesota to Caswell Park in Mankato, where the event takes place now. The series experienced a few more evolutions, and in 2017 Play Ball! Minnesota became the naming sponsor of the series.

The series now features 88 players representing all classifications of softball. The teams play each play two seven-inning games. The event highlights the best senior players in Minnesota high school softball.
