The SandLot opened in 1995 on Blake Street inside Coors Field in downtown Denver, the first brewery inside a major league ballpark. The Molson Coors owned brewery is best known for being the birthplace of Blue Moon Belgian White, originally introduced as Bellyslide Wit or Bellyslide Belgian White. Brewmasters Emilie Maskwa and Matt Kuenker brew approximately 1,000 barrels of beer per year.
In addition to Blue Moon, The SandLot is known for its wide variety of award-winning beers which have earned recognition at festivals across the globe. The SandLot Brewery has won 65 Great American Beer Festival medals and 14 World Beer Cup medals, reinforcing The SandLot's reputation as one of the most decorated and innovative small breweries in the global beer community.
