MLB.TV returns for '23 with a big new feature
MLB.TV is back for 2023 -- with a big new feature.
MLB's streaming service launches Tuesday for the 2023 season. And now all MLB.TV subscribers will have access to Minor League Baseball included as part of their subscription -- which means more live baseball than ever before, and more ways to follow your favorite team’s affiliates.
MLB.TV subscribers can watch more than 7,000 streamed games for affiliates of all 30 MLB clubs, including all 60 Triple-A and Double-A clubs, plus home games from more than 40 additional clubs and select postseason games through the First Pitch app along with select games from your favorite team’s affiliates in the MLB apps.
App upgrades and more video on demand
That isn’t all that’s new this season. Within the MLB mobile apps, a new Watch hub will be debuting for 2023 to make more video content available than ever -- both live programming and video on demand for fans' favorite teams and all of MLB.
Also coming to select connected devices this season is the big-screen Gameday mode, with advanced data and pitch-by-pitch details to immerse fans in the game.
The MLB.TV content library will also be packed with new episodes of original shows like "Baseball Zen" and "Carded," new shows like "Inside Stitch," baseball documentaries and more -- with expanded access to that library for MLB At Bat subscribers, too.
Of course, with MLB.TV, fans can watch every out-of-market regular-season game, as well as select Spring Training games, live online or on their favorite supported devices.
When streaming games, subscribers can choose between home and away feeds and watch games with live DVR and in-game playback controls like clickable box scores and live scoreboards.
Yearly and single-team MLB.TV packages also include local pregame and postgame coverage for select teams and archives of the 2022 and '21 seasons, and subscribers who are authenticated through their TV service providers will also be able to watch every game of the 2023 World Series and the All-Star Game.
Yearly MLB.TV subscriptions for 2023 are available for $149.99 for the full season, or $24.99 per month. Single-team packages are available for $129.99 for the season.
MLB Audio is now At Bat -- and has a lot more than just audio
For 2023, MLB Audio has a new name: At Bat. Why the new name? Because this subscription also has a lot more to offer than just audio for this coming season.
MLB At Bat subscribers can still listen to blackout-free audio broadcasts of all MLB regular-season games -- with their choice of home or away broadcasts and alternative Spanish audio, where available.
What’s new for this year is all the video now available as part of this subscription. At Bat subscribers will be able to watch live video of Minor League games in the First Pitch app and the MLB apps -- the same as MLB.TV subscribers. At Bat subscribers will also receive access to subscriber-only content like MLB Big Inning, our daily whiparound show with live look-ins and real-time highlights, as well as access to our library of subscriber-only video on demand originals and documentaries.
At Bat subscriptions are $3.99 per month or $29.99 for the year.
