MLB gives Make-A-Wish kids the All-Star treatment in Seattle

Since 1980, MLB and its clubs have worked with Make-A-Wish to grant wishes for children. Over the past 4 decades, they’ve fulfilled more than 100 kids’ All-Star Game wishes

On Friday night, MLB and the Mariners honored Jacob Paskell, 17, from MA, Gabriel Delacruz, 15, from CA, Evan Dyme, 14, from NJ, Jack Evans, 17, from ND and Legend Miles, 14, from CA

Each of the teens received a swag bag full of gifts, including a bat with their name stamped on it, a personalized jersey from their favorite team and All-Star Game swag

The gifts were presented by 3 of MLB’s top prospects who participated in the 2023 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game. They took photos, signed autographs and talked shop with the families

Thanks to a generous donation from Hankook Tire, the boys and their families also received tickets to the MLB Draft, VIP treatment at PLAY BALL Park and a private suite at T-Mobile Park

April Brown, MLB’s VP of Social Responsibility and Community Affairs “Thank you for choosing baseball as your wish ... that means the most to us.”
