Always displaying an unwavering confidence and belief in the teams he led, Ned Yost instilled the same confidence and belief in his players that they could win championships. And together they did, capturing consecutive American League Pennants (2014 and 2015) and a World Series Championship in 2015. His 2014 Royals were the first in MLB history to begin a postseason with eight consecutive wins. His 22-9 record and resulting .710 winning percentage with the Royals set an MLB record mark for managers with at least 20 postseason games. Yost concluded his career as the Royals all-time leader in managerial wins with 746.
