Reds Hall of Fame and Museum Artifact and Exhibit Preservation Fund

As the repository for Reds history, the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum presented by Dinsmore maintains a collection of more than 16,000 individual artifacts dating from 1869 to the present day. The museum’s Artifact Preservation and Exhibit Fund affords for the preservation of this incredible collection, encompassing both artifacts on display in the museum’s galleries as well as artifacts that reside in the museum’s archive. Each item in the collection is catalogued and artifacts that are not currently on display are housed in specialized, archival storage containers and under environmental conditions that protect the items from degradation, ensuring that that these tangible pieces of Reds history will be preserved for the enrichment and enjoyment of Reds fans in perpetuity. Additionally, this fund allows the museum to display and share items – artifacts have traveled to minor league ballparks, local displays in Cincinnati, and throughout Reds Country to tell the story of the first all-professional baseball team.

On the occasion of the Hall of Fame and Museum’s 20th anniversary, please consider making a donation to this fund. Your contribution is invaluable to the Museum’s ability to preserve and exhibit its collection and greatly aids in its ability to research and acquire new artifacts.
