Stephen Thomas
VICE PRESIDENT, DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION
Stephen Thomas begins his 18th year in the Rays organization & his first as Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. His goal is to create and nurture a diverse and inclusive environment that is empowered to positively impact our communities. Throughout his tenure, Thomas has been named a Rays co-Employee of the Year (2020) and the recipient of the Joyce Smith Community Spirit Award (2012). Prior to joining the Rays, he earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Washington State University in 2006. A native of Vallejo, Calif., he resides in St. Petersburg with his wife, Julia, and daughter, Rue. Stephen’s twin brother, Stephon, works for the Rays as director of promotions
