Top Things to Know: Phillies vs. Colorado Rockies (4/25-28)

On Monday, April 25, to Thursday, April 28, the Philadelphia Phillies will host the Colorado Rockies for a four-game series at Citizens Bank Park, finishing up the homestand. Here’s a look at all the promotions and Phillies fun surrounding the games. Plus, see below for other need-to-know information including safety guidelines, cashless parking details, ballpark entry permitted items and more.

1.   On Monday, April 25, as part of Nemours Children’s Health Donate Life Month, the Phillies will recognize kids who have received or provided organ donations before the 6:45 p.m. game.

  • Also happening on Monday is the seventh annual Red Goes Greek Night, featuring a special  buy-one-get one free Theme Night ticket offer, or fundraising opportunity, in select locations. The event is a great opportunity for fraternities and sororities to highlight their charitable work and raise both money and awareness to support their philanthropies.

2.   It’s the first Hatfield Phillies Franks Dollar Dog Night of the season on Tuesday, April 26, at the 6:45 p.m. game!

  • Plus, it’s Scouts Night II at the ballpark, a special Theme Night for members of local Boy and Girl Scout troops! The evening features a ceremonial first pitch by Sofia Chang, CEO, Girl Scouts USA. Plus, local scouts in uniform can receive a Phillies Scout Night Patch and some scouts will have the honor of dancing with the Phanatic in the seventh inning.

3.   On Wednesday, April 27, the club will honor their 2021 Phillies Charities, Inc. grant recipients on the field before that night’s 6:45 p.m. game for their tireless work in the community. These charities are among the 30+ non-profit organizations who were awarded more than $885,000 in grants last season.

  • Fans can also purchase tickets for Mystery Theme Night for the chance to try and secure a random former Theme Night giveaway item.

4.  Here’s a great opportunity for college students and recent graduates! Go behind the scenes in the business of baseball with Phillies front office executives and special guests at the Phillies #CollegeSeries sponsored by Temple University’s Fox School of Business. This pregame experience features a Networking Hour, moderated session with guest speakers, photos with alumni Mickey Morandini, Milt Thompson and the World Series trophies, and more. 5.   It’s a Citizens Businessperson’s Special on Thursday, April 28, as the Phillies take on the Rockies at 1:05 p.m. for the final game of the homestand. Following the game, fans 55 and over are invited to go down to the field for the Independence Blue Cross Senior Stroll the Bases. Cindy Webster, who will represent SportsRadio 94WIP Morning Show, will have the honor of being the leadoff stroller.

6.   Only a few more dates left to bid on signed items at the Phillies Charities, Inc. Auction! Seranthony Dominguez, Zach Eflin, Bryce Harper, Rhys Hoskins, Aaron Nola, Jean Segura and Zack Wheeler autographed items, as well as signed memorabilia from 2008 World Champions Ryan Howard and Shane Victorino, are up for bid until noon on Friday, April 29, via the MLB Ballpark App (available on iOS and Android devices only).

Other need-to-know information:

  • Safety guidelines: In accordance with the City’s recently updated safety guidelines, fans are strongly encouraged to wear masks in indoor spaces at the ballpark including the Diamond Club, retail stores, elevators and restrooms. Fans are reminded to bring their own mask if they will be at one of the previously mentioned areas at Citizens Bank Park.
  • Parking lots: Parking for Phillies games is cashless. Methods of payment include credit/debit cards and mobile payment (Apple Pay and Google Pay). To expedite entry, pre-paid parking passes may also be purchased prior to the game. Tailgating lots (M & N) will open 5 hours prior to first pitch and non-tailgating lots will open 3 hours prior.
  • Access Tickets & More: Use the free MLB Ballpark app as your guide to Citizens Bank Park to access tickets, forward to friends, use the interactive concourse maps and enjoy games.
  • Gate Openings: All gates open 90 minutes prior to game time.
  • To expedite entry: Guests are prohibited from bringing bags, including backpacks, into the ballpark. Only clutch purses (12”x 12” x 1”), fanny packs, medical bags, clear or solid tote bags and diaper bags will be permitted into Citizens Bank Park.
  • Broadcast: The games on April 25 and April 27-28 will be broadcast on NBCSP. The April 26 game will be broadcast on NBCSP+ and the April 28 game will also be broadcast on MLBN (out-of-market only). All games will be broadcast on 94 WIP and WTTM 1680, as well as available via live stream for authenticated subscribers on NBC Sports Philadelphia’s MyTeams app.
