Bally Sports Ohio, Reds & PNC team up for annual Reds Community Fund Telethon – July 30

July 29th, 2024

Bally Sports Ohio and the Cincinnati Reds are once again teaming up to produce the 12th annual Reds Community Fund Telethon presented by PNC on Tuesday, July 30 when the Reds host the Chicago Cubs at Great American Ball Park.

Game coverage begins at 7 p.m. preceded by a special one-hour Reds Live pregame show at 6 p.m.

Throughout the pregame and telecast, Bally Sports Ohio will highlight many of the baseball and softball-themed outreach initiatives of the Reds Community Fund, including the Reds Nike RBI programs, recent field renovation projects, and the 10th anniversary of the opening of the P&G MLB Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy.

“The telethon is a fun way for the Reds Community Fund to show our fans all the work being done on their behalf,” said Phil Castellini, Reds President and Chief Operating Officer. “The Reds gladly give back to the communities throughout Reds Country in appreciation for their support of the Reds, and we invite our fans to join us in this effort by donating to receive these packages made available during the telethon.”

Fans are encouraged to donate at www.reds.com/Telethon to receive the following:

MVP Package: A donation of $125 includes a Reds City Connect hoodie, an exclusive Will Benson bobblehead, and much more.

Premium MVP Package: A donation of at least $250 features the MVP Package plus additional items including an autographed mini home plate from select Reds players (fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last).

For full details about the MVP packages and to donate, visit www.reds.com/Telethon.

New for 2024: Fans in the ballpark on July 30 can donate in person to receive an MVP or Premium MVP package. The Reds Community Fund will accept donations in the First Star Fan Zone when gates open at 5:40 p.m.

PNC’s ongoing commitment to the Telethon will be directed to the P&G MLB Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy to support baseball and softball programming.

Last year’s TV event raised a record $307,000 for the Reds Community Fund.
