Rangers Youth Academy baseball and softball stars accumulate high school accolades

After their high school seasons ended in May, a slew of standout baseball and softball players who train at the Texas Rangers Youth Academy received awards from their respective schools and districts for incredible performances on and off the field.

Below are a handful of recognitions Academy athletes were awarded following the 2024 season.

L.D. Bell High School – District 3-6A

  • Arya Manandhar – All-District Second Team

Braswell High School – District 5-6A

  • Aaron Grant – All-District Second Team

MacArthur High School – District 7-6A

  • Victor Camarillo – Most Valuable Player (MacArthur High School)

Nimitz High School – District 7-6A

  • Gio Frias – District 7-6A Player of the Year, All-District First Team, All-District Academic Team, Nimitz High School Player of the Year
  • Savannah Robles – All-District First Team, All-District Academic Team

Midlothian High School – District 8-5A

  • Ana Gonzalez – District 8-5A Defensive Player of the Year

Arlington Lamar High School – District 8-6A

  • Deven Rawal – All District Honorable Mention

South Grand Prairie High School – District 8-6A

  • Jacob Ayala – District 8-6A Most Valuable Player, South Grand Prairie High School Player of the Year, South Grand Prairie High School Most Valuable Player, South Grand Prairie High School Warrior Award, Lowest ERA in School History, Methodist Mansfield Sports Awards Player of the Year
