Yankee Stadium to host game day 50/50 Raffle Program to benefit local charities through the New York Yankees Foundation
Raffle effort to take place at Yankees home games using Ascend Fundraising Solutions
The New York Yankees today announced that the New York Yankees Foundation’s 50/50 Raffle Program is underway at Yankee Stadium, giving fans the opportunity to support local charities through the New York Yankees Foundation. The program, which was first initiated during the July 25 home game vs. the Mets, will be available at Yankees games at Yankee Stadium. The New York Yankees Foundation has selected Ascend Fundraising Solutions software platform for its 50/50 Raffle Program.
To participate in the 50/50 Raffle Program, guests at Yankee Stadium may purchase raffle tickets, and one lucky fan with the winning ticket number will win half of the net proceeds of the raffle for that game, with the other half of the net proceeds benefiting New York Yankees Foundation programs and other nonprofit organizations.
Tickets may be purchased from roving sellers in blue vests or at one of the six 50/50 Raffle kiosks. Additionally, in the near future, 50/50 raffle tickets may be purchased online by fans at Yankee Stadium and throughout New York State. Raffle sales each game conclude at the end of the sixth inning, and the winning ticket is posted on the scoreboard around the middle of the seventh inning. Each game’s winning ticket number, prize redemption information and official rules will be posted online at www.yankees.com/5050. The winner does not need to be present to win.
