White Sox agree to terms with 23 players on 2022 contracts
GLENDALE, Ariz. – The Chicago White Sox have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with outfielder Adam Engel ($2.0-million) and right-handed pitcher Reynaldo López ($2.625-million) for the 2022 season, avoiding arbitration.
The White Sox also have agreed to terms on 2022 contracts with the following 21 players:
· Pitchers (11): Jason Bilous, Ryan Burr, Dylan Cease, Garrett Crochet, Matt Foster, Michael Kopech, Jimmy Lambert, José Ruiz, Anderson Severino, Bennett Sousa and Jonathan Stiever
· Catchers (3): Zack Collins, Yermín Mercedes and Seby Zavala
· Infielders (4): Jake Burger, Romy González, Danny Mendick and Gavin Sheets
· Outfielders (3): Micker Adolfo, Blake Rutherford and Andrew Vaughn
With the signings, 39 players on the White Sox 40-man roster have agreed to terms for the 2022 season.
