What’s Happening This Weekend at Citizens Bank Park: Phillies vs. Pirates, April 11-14

The Phillies will begin their 10-game homestand with four games against the Pittsburgh Pirates, April 11-14. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights surrounding the games:
1. The series begins on Thursday, April 11, at 6:40 p.m., with that night’s Asian Pacific Heritage Celebration and Phillies #CollegeSeries sponsored by Temple University’s Fox School of Business. Plus, there will be two special ceremonial first pitches with an organ donor, organ recipients and a transplant surgeon representing Temple Health and Living Liver Foundation.
- Be on the lookout for pregame performances by the Philadelphia Suns in Ashburn Alley and Philippine Folk Arts Society, Inc. Rondalla at the Third Base Gate.
- Commander Kojiro Taniguchi, that night’s Rothman Hometown Hero, will have the honor of changing third base at the end of the third inning.
- Also, be on the lookout for ceremonial first pitches representing the Living Liver Foundation and Temple Health including donor MaryBeth Foster and kidney recipient Joseph DeMayo, who will meet in person for the very first time at the game, and Dr. Kenneth Chavin, Temple Health’s Director of Abdominal Organ Transplant, and Temple Health employee and kidney recipient Julian Harmon.
- Plus, college students and recent graduates are invited to go behind the scenes in the business of sports with Phillies technology services executives at this special pregame #CollegeSeries event with limited tickets available here.
2. On Friday, April 12, at 6:40 p.m., the Phillies will wear their new Nike MLB City Connect uniforms for the first time on-field, kicking off Lights Up // Friday Nights at the Bank. Also, it’s the 20th Anniversary of Citizens Bank Park!
- The Phillies will honor the 20th anniversary of the inaugural game at Citizens Bank Park with that game's starting pitcher, Randy Wolf, returning for ceremonial first pitch honors.
- Take photos at the new “Unapologetically Philly” mural at Pass and Stow, illustrated by Phils fan Dhwani Saraiya (@dsaraiyart on Instagram), which will be available all season long.
- Fans 21 and over, stop by the “Miller Lite Friday Happy Hour” at Miller Lite Liberty Landing, featuring Miller Lite specials until the first pitch.
- Following the game, ticketed guests are invited to stop by the Postgame Party with DJ Jazzy Jeff at Pass and Stow, in honor of the first wear of the new Phillies Nike MLB City Connect uniform.
3. The Phillies are teaming up with Autism Speaks to host Autism Awareness Day on Saturday, April 13 during that afternoon’s 4:05 p.m. game.

- Before the game, fans can enjoy the Budweiser Block Party with DJ HBK at the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar behind Section 148.
- Plus, 9-year-old Huntley Ross from Clayton, Del. will be honored as Phillies Ballgirls Ball Kid of the Month before the game. This once-in-a-lifetime experience is given once a month to a child battling a disease.
4. The series concludes with Cavity Busters Kids Opening Day at 1:35 p.m. on Sunday, April 14! All children 14 and under will receive a sleeveless hoodie.
- Kids are taking over the ballpark! Youngsters are invited to join all the pregame and in-game fun. Be on the lookout for kids announcing the lineups with Dan Baker, a special starting nine and more.
- Plus, two lucky Cavity Busters Kids will present Bryce Harper with his 2023 Silver Slugger Award before the game.
- Kids can also enjoy complimentary face painting at The Yard before and during the game.
5. Place your bids on signed and game-used items during the Phillies Charities, Inc. Online Auction, benefitting The Pennsylvania SPCA at phillies.com/auctions! Bidding ends on Monday, May 6 at 10:00 p.m.
- Items include those signed by Alec Bohm, Nick Castellanos, Bryce Harper, Brandon Marsh, Kyle Schwarber, Edmundo Sosa, Bryson Stott and Taijuan Walker.
6. Fans are invited to enroll in MLB’s Go-Ahead Entry on the MLB Ballpark App, a free-flow ballpark entry experience that allows ticket holders the ability to enter the ballpark at full walking speed without stopping.
- Go-Ahead Entry lanes are located at the First Base, Third Base and Left Field Gates.
- Fans who enrolled in Go-Ahead Entry last year will have to re-enroll for the 2024 season.
- Gate Openings: Gates open at 5:35 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 2:35 p.m. on Saturday, and 12:05 p.m. on Sunday.
- Access Tickets & More: Use the free MLB Ballpark app for your guide to Citizens Bank Park and to access tickets (including sports complex parking), forward tickets to friends, use the interactive concourse maps, enroll in Go-Ahead Entry and enjoy games.
- Broadcast: All four games against the Pirates will be broadcast on NBSCP+. All games will be broadcast on 94 WIP and WTTM 1680, as well as available on nbcsportsphiladelphia.com and the NBC Sports app. Thursday’s game will be available on MLB Network (out-of-market only).
- Mobile Ordering: Includes Manco & Manco @ Foundry Pizza, Miller Lite Liberty Landing, Pass and Stow and Shake Shack. Order your favorite menu items and skip the line when ordering through the MLB Ballpark App.
- Bag Policy: In an effort to expedite entry, guests are prohibited from bringing non-clear bags, including backpacks and draw-string bags, into the ballpark. Only clutch purses and/or fanny packs (no larger than 5" x 7"), clear bags (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"), medical bags, and diaper bags will be permitted into Citizens Bank Park. All bags will be subject to inspection upon entry in accordance with Major League Baseball security regulations.
- Uber RideShare Lot: Lot T is designated for Uber RideShare for all Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center events. Fans should exit the Third Base Gate and walk along Pattison Avenue toward Broad Street to enter the lot and request a vehicle, which will meet each rider in the designated area.
- Parking: Please click here for a parking map. Parking for Phillies games is cashless. Methods of payment include credit/debit cards and mobile payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay). To expedite entry, pre-paid parking passes may also be purchased prior to the game.
