Following a six-game road trip, the Washington Nationals return home for two three-game sets against the Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks. Single-game tickets for all Nationals home games are on sale now at nats.com/Tickets

This homestand features several exciting events and promotions, including the organization’s 18th annual Night OUT, UK-US Friendship Day, a special kids giveaway and more. FRIDAY, JUNE 2 vs. PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES (7:05 PM ET)

  • Lou Gehrig Day
  • Major League Baseball’s third annual Lou Gehrig day will honor the life and legacy of Lou Gehrig while also raising awareness for ALS.
  • Proceeds from Friday’s 5050 raffle will benefit the Washington DC Chapter of The ALS Association.
  • Nationals President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo joined forces with Nationals Philanthropies to raise funds and awareness for the cause in honor of his sister, Kim, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2018 and battled courageously until her passing in 2020.
  • Rizzo participated in The ALS Association’s CEO Soak and challenged general managers across MLB to join him by making their own contributions.

  • Together with local professional sports teams the Washington Capitals, Commanders, Mystics, Spirit, Wizards, D.C. United, DC Shadow and Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Nationals have announced a renewed commitment to community safety.
  • As part of this campaign, the participating teams have pledged an initial donation of $100,000 to local non**-**profit Peace For DC.
  • In recognition of National Gun Violence Awareness Month and on Wear Orange Weekend, players will wear orange warmup shirts, and representatives from Peace For DC will be recognized on the field prior to the game.

  • An annual celebration of the Nationals charitable foundation, Philanthropies Day offers fans the chance to get packs of exclusive memorabilia and merchandise.

  • Story Time at Nationals Park
  • The first Story Time at Nationals Park of the season features a read-along and Q&A with Nationals pitcher Kyle Finnegan, plus games, activities and book giveaways from partner organizations.
  • Story Time at Nationals Park is free and open to all fans with a ticket for the day’s game and will begin 15 minutes after gates open. This Sunday’s event takes place in the Kennedy Conference Room on the Club Level of Nationals Park.

  • Kids ages 4 through 12 are invited to run the bases after Sunday day games, weather permitting.

  • Signature Sundays
  • Two Nationals players will sign autographs for fans at every Sunday home game all season long. Autographs will take place at the top of the Nationals dugout starting one hour prior to first pitch, weather permitting and subject to player schedules.
  • Fans must obtain a free voucher in order to participate in the autograph sessions – vouchers will be distributed on a first come, first served basis at Section 103, starting when the gates open 90 minutes before first pitch.

TUESDAY, JUNE 6 vs. ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS (7:05 PM ET)

  • Fans are invited to join the Nationals in celebrating the LGBTQ+ community at Nationals Park during the club’s Major League-leading 18th annual Night OUT.
  • The first 20,000 fans in attendance will receive a Screech Night OUT bobblehead.
  • Fans who purchase the special Night OUT ticket will receive an exclusive t-shirt, and $5 of every special ticket sold will be donated to Team DC.
  • The game will feature several fun activations, including:

  • To celebrate the recent coronation of King Charles III and the enduring partnership between the United States and United Kingdom, the Nationals are pleased to partner with the British Embassy and the British Defence Staff in the US for the second annual UK-US Friendship Day at Nationals Park.
  • Fans will be treated to ceremonial military performances by the Royal Marine Corps of Drums and the “President’s Own” United States Marine Band.
  • UK-themed games, music and prizes, the singing of the UK and US national anthems, plus other fun activities will be featured throughout the game.

2023 SCOTTS MLB ALL-STAR GAME VOTING

  • The 2023 Scotts MLB All-Star Ballot is now available, giving fans the chance to vote for which Nationals players will represent D.C. in the 2023 All-Star Game in Seattle.
  • All-Star voting is broken down into two phases:
  • Phase 1 Voting – May 31 through June 22: The first phase of voting allows fans to vote daily for all players on MLB.com.
  • Phase 2 Voting – June 26 through June 29: Once the first phase of voting is complete, the top two players at each position per league, plus six outfielders, will advance to the final week of voting to determine the All-Star starters.
  • During Phase 1, fans can vote up to five (5) times in any 24-hour period on MLB.com. Fans can vote (1) time in any 24-hour period during Phase 2.

KIDS EAT FREE

  • Kids ages 12 and under can receive a free meal including a hot dog, chips and bottled water at all Nationals home games through Sunday, Sept. 3.
  • Kids meals are available via mobile ordering on the MLB Ballpark app at select concessions locations throughout the ballpark. The offer is redeemable once per game per child by selecting the Kids Eat Free meal and using the code KIDSEATFREE in the app. Children must be present to pick up their meals.     • To select the Kids Eat Free meal in the MLB Ballpark App, scan any QR Code or open the MLB Ballpark app and tap on Mobile Ordering.

    • *CYCLE REVERSE VENDING MACHINES**

    • As part of its involvement in Anheuser-Busch’s National Recycling League, Nationals Park is the first Major League Baseball stadium with Cycle Reverse Vending Machines.

    • Located near the Budweiser Brew House and next to the Budweiser Terrace, fans can win rewards in exchange for recycling their empty beverage containers at these machines.

    • Fans insert empty beverage containers at the machines and scan a QR code to receive a unique transaction ID. After entering information in the web app, users will find out instantly if they have won along with instructions on how to redeem their prize.

    • A grand prize is given out every game, and the top recycler each homestand receives a special gift.

    • *NATIONALS PARK ENTRY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES**

    • Water Bottles

    • Nationals Park allows clear, factory-sealed or empty plastic water bottles no larger than one liter. Metal and glass water bottles are not allowed, nor are frozen water bottles.

    • Only one water bottle per person is permitted.

    • Water bottle refill stations are available throughout the ballpark.

    • Bag Policy

    • All bags larger than a clutch must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and may not be larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches.

    • Fans may bring a clutch (5” x 7” x ¾” or smaller) in addition to or instead of a clear bag.

    • Fans with diaper or medical bags may use ADA/Family lanes at the Center Field and Home Plate gates to have their items inspected.

    • Binbox is available for fans whose bags do not comply with ballpark regulations.

    • *GETTING TO THE BALLPARK**

    • Parking options for Nationals fans start at $20 and are available online at nats.com/Parking. Fans are encouraged to purchase parking in advance to ensure a space in their desired location.

    • Fans using Metro to travel to or from Nationals Park are encouraged to review the Metro schedule at wmata.com/Schedules.

    • Fans should also consider alternate forms of travel to and from the ballpark, including the D.C. Circulator from Union Station, biking to the ballpark, or the baseball boat from Alexandria.     • Fans traveling to the ballpark should be aware that there are construction projects underway in the surrounding area. To ensure safe crossings, please be mindful of signage and directions given by public safety officers. 

    • *BALLPARK SAFETY**

    • Nationals Park is a completely non-smoking and tobacco-free facility per District of Columbia law. There is no exception for electronic cigarettes or any other type of smoking device, or for smokeless tobacco or any other type of tobacco product.

    • MLB and the Nationals require that all people entering Nationals Park walk through a metal detector or be screened with handheld metal detectors to search for prohibited items. This includes a thorough inspection of all jackets, coats, packages, bags, purses, and any other containers brought to any of the Nationals Park entry gates.
