Tigers announce roster for American League Division Series

DETROIT – The Detroit Tigers announced their 26-man roster for the American League Division Series vs. Cleveland. The Tigers advanced to the ALDS after sweeping Houston in the Wild Card series. Detroit is in the postseason for the 17th time in franchise history and first time since 2014.

The Tigers Wild Card Series roster consists of 12 pitchers and 14 position players. The series against the Guardians begins this afternoon with first pitch set for 1:08 p.m. ET. Game Two of the series is scheduled for Monday at 4:08 p.m. ET. The series shifts to Detroit for Game Three on Wednesday at 3:08 p.m. ET and Game Four (if necessary) on Thursday at 6:08 p.m. Game Five (if necessary) will be next Saturday in Cleveland at 4:38 p.m. ET. Games 1-3 and Game 5 of the series will be broadcast on TBS, while Game 4 will be broadcast on TNT. All games of the series will be available on the Tigers Radio Network.
