HEROES CORNER, presented by The Good Feet Store: Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 3
The Orioles will donate tickets to the BALTIMORE CITY FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE, LODGE 3 as part of their Heroes Corner program, presented by The Good Feet Store. The Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 3 is a union representing 4,000 active and retired Baltimore City police officers. Founded in 2021, the Heroes Corner program serves as a way for the Orioles to say thank you and show appreciation for frontline workers and volunteers in the community.

UNIVERSITY NIGHT

The Orioles will invite over 500 students and alumni from the MARYLAND INSTITUTE COLLEGE OF ART, STEVENSON UNIVERSITY, TOWSON UNIVERSITY, UNIVERSITY OF BALTIMORE, and WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY to Tuesday’s game against the Giants.

A representative from the MARYLAND INSTITUTE COLLEGE OF ART will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

PREGAME CEREMONY: Downtown Partnership of Baltimore

The Orioles will recognize the DOWNTOWN PARTNERSHIP OF BALTIMORE team in an on-field ceremony before the game as a way to thank them for their relentless dedication to making Downtown Baltimore a destination of choice for everyone. Downtown Partnership of Baltimore is a non-profit that aims to grow Baltimore’s economic and residential base.

President of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore SHELONDA STOKES will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

ORIOLES IN THE COMMUNITY: Hispanic Heritage Month Visit

In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Orioles will host youth baseball players and coaches from Baltimore’s Highlandtown community. As part of the visit, the team will have a visit from Orioles interpreter Brandon “Q” Quinones, attend batting practice, and receive an Orioles cap and concession card.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Taylor Zimmerman

ZIMMERMAN will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

HONOR GUARD: La Plata Police Department

The LA PLATA POLICE DEPARTMENT will present the colors from the field during the national anthem.

FIRST PITCH: Stavros Halkias

Baltimore native and nationally recognized comedian STAVROS HALKIAS will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. Fans can find him on the comedy series, Tires, and watch his second comedy special Stavros Halkias: Fat Rascal, both streaming on Netflix. As part of his “Home for the Holidays” tour, Stavros will perform at The Lyric in Baltimore on November 29 and 30.

BARK AT ORIOLE PARK, presented by Zesty Paws

Fans who purchased the now sold-out ticket package are invited to bring their dogs with them to the ballpark as part of Bark at Oriole Park. The special ticket package includes the opportunity to walk around the warning track prior to the game, receive a custom caricature, and take home a pet supply gift bag. A portion of sales from Bark at Oriole Park tickets will benefit the BALTIMORE HUMANE SOCIETY.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Lois Ellise of & Juliet

ELLISE, a cast member from the coming-of-age jukebox musical & JULIET, will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

PREGAME CEREMONY: Maryland Olympians and Paralympians

In recognition of their outstanding representation of the state of Maryland this summer, the Orioles will honor local Olympians and Paralympians in an on-field ceremony prior to the game.

As part of Back to School Night, the Orioles will recognize teachers and staff members who are making a difference as part of a special on-field ceremony.

Platinum-selling recording artist and Nashville, Tenn. native MITCHELL TENPENNY will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. Tenpenny’s upcoming studio album, “The 3rd,” will be released on September 20. Fans can see Tenpenny perform at Rams Head Live! for his “Woke Up in a Dream Tour” on September 19.

Baltimore-based R&B and Soul musical group KSTONE4U will perform their rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

As a thank you for their support this year, the Orioles are celebrating the best fans in baseball all weekend long. As part of Fan Appreciation Weekend, gates will open to fans two hours prior to first pitch, autographed items will be passed out to randomly selected fans throughout the game, and randomly selected fans will also have the opportunity to participate in pregame ceremonies.

HOT DOG DISCO

Fans are invited to attend a pregame disco party on the Legends Park Stage featuring music by DJ CHRIS STYLES and special guest appearances by the Camden Franks.

PREGAME CEREMONY: Most Valuable Oriole Award Presentation

Prior to the game, the Orioles will recognize this year’s recipient of the Most Valuable Oriole Award, as voted on by members of the local media. The Most Valuable Oriole Award is named in honor of the late Lou Hatter, a former sportswriter for The Baltimore Sun, who covered the Orioles for 27 years.

CITY CONNECT FRIDAY

The Orioles will wear their City Connect jerseys at each Friday home game throughout the regular season, and this year, every City Connect Friday will be dedicated to Harlem Park Elementary Middle School. As part of the Orioles’ Adopt-A-School campaign, Harlem Park staff will attend batting practice, and Orioles players and coaches will wear Harlem Park themed batting practice shirts.

As a thank you for their support this year, the Orioles are celebrating the best fans in baseball all weekend long. As part of Fan Appreciation Weekend, gates will open to fans two hours prior to first pitch, autographed items will be passed out to randomly selected fans throughout the game, and randomly selected fans will also have the opportunity to participate in pregame ceremonies. Fans will also be able to write notes to their favorite O’s players and coaches in Legends Park from when gates open until the sixth inning to wish them luck during their Postseason push.

PREGAME CEREMONY: Roberto Clemente Award Nominee Recognition

The Orioles will honor catcher JAMES McCANN as the team’s 2024 Roberto Clemente Award nominee during an on-field ceremony prior to the game. The Roberto Clemente Award is bestowed annually to the player who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy, and positive contributions, both on and off the field. Since joining the Orioles prior to the 2023 season, McCann has been a cornerstone of community support in Baltimore, embodying leadership qualities that earned him a second nomination for the Roberto Clemente Award. The Orioles will recognize longtime Ridgely’s Delight community leaders SHARON and BILL as Birdland Community Heroes. They have been residents of the Ridgely's Delight neighborhood in Baltimore for more than 30 years, where they have mentored neighborhood youth, welcomed new immigrant families, and organized neighborhood cleanups. In honor of their recognition, the Orioles Charitable Foundation will make a $5,000 donation to NEXT ONE UP. Next One Up is a Baltimore-based non-profit focused on transforming the lives of young men in Baltimore City by supporting their academic, athletic, and social development.

EARLY BIRD SATURDAY, presented by Coors Light

Gates will open to fans two hours prior to the first pitch every Saturday home game this season. This Saturday**, KLEPTORADIO**, a local cover band, will perform for fans in Legends Park from 2-3:45 p.m. As part of Fan Appreciation Weekend, fans can also enjoy extended happy hour deals at Legends Park from 2-4 p.m., including select $5 16 oz. domestic beers as well as $2.50 soft pretzels and popcorn.

50/50 RAFFLE AT ORIOLE PARK AT CAMDEN YARDS

The Orioles will host a 50/50 Raffle at each regular season home game to benefit a charity in the Baltimore community and the Ted Williams Foundation, giving fans the opportunity to make a direct impact across Birdland while trying to hit the jackpot at Camden Yards. Raffle tickets may be purchased from uniformed raffle-ticket sellers and via QR codes throughout the ballpark until the end of the 7th inning. The winning number will be announced in the bottom of the eighth inning.
