HEROES CORNER, presented by The Good Feet Store: Volunteers of America – Chesapeake & Carolinas

The Orioles will donate tickets to VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA – CHESAPEAKE & CAROLINAS as part of their Heroes Corner program, presented by The Good Feet Store. Volunteers of America empower self-reliance and inspire hope through personalized housing, ministry, health, and human services that benefit vulnerable individuals, their families, and their community. Founded in 2021, the Heroes Corner program serves as a way for the Orioles to say thank you and show appreciation for frontline workers and volunteers in the community.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia

Members of PHI MU ALPHA SINFONIA, the oldest and largest men's fraternal society of music in the United States, will perform their rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

JAMES McCANN MEDSTAR FRANKLIN SQUARE MEDICAL CENTER VISIT

In partnership with MedStar Health, Orioles catcher James McCann and his family will visit NICU nurses and families at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. McCann’s twin boys, Christian and Kane, spent time in the NICU after being born prematurely in 2017. In the years since, McCann has continued to give back to NICU nurses and their families.

Maryland School for the Blind Tactile Tour

The Orioles will partner with Maryland School for the Blind to bring 30 students, staff, and family members to Oriole Park for a tactile tour. The guests will also attend batting practice and experience the game from a catered suite, courtesy of the Orioles. Dan Tucholski will serve as the guest speaker. At six years old, he was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa, causing him to gradually lose his vision. An avid participant in Special Olympics Maryland, Tucholski partakes in bowling, duck pin, floor hockey, powerlifting, snowshoe, soccer, softball, and swimming.

ORIOLES LGBTQ+ PRIDE NIGHT

The Orioles will celebrate their annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night. The ballpark will be decorated with pride-themed trimmings and fans can enjoy a live DJ in Legends Park from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m., as well as other activities, including pride face paint, a 360°-photo booth, pride temporary tattoos, and craft stations located in the Bullpen Picnic Arena. The Orioles and Brick & Whistle will also offer pride-themed food and beverage at Just Desserts on the Club Level, all markets and bars, and all liquor bar locations, including the Coors Light Roof Deck. PRIDE NIGHT TICKET DONATIONS AND TABLING

The Orioles will donate tickets to local organizations that support LGBTQ+ individuals, including Unmatched Athlete, Baltimore Safe Haven, Queer City Sports Baltimore, JOY Baltimore, Hearts & Ears, and FreeState Justice. Representatives from each organization will have informational tables set up in the bullpen picnic area to inform fans about their work in the LGBTQ+ community.

BIRDLAND COMMUNITY HERO, presented by BGE: Paige Hoskins

The Orioles will recognize HOSKINS, a senior at Bowie State University and a member of the House of Bowie, as their Birdland Community Hero. Through her work with the House of Bowie, Hoskins has helped establish safe spaces on campus for queer individuals and their allies, fostering a supportive and inclusive community. She received a $600 grant for her work, which she plans to use to improve the LGBTQIA Resource Center on the Bowie State campus. As part of her recognition, the Orioles Charitable Foundation will donate $5,000 to the National Black Justice Coalition.

HEROES CORNER: The Center for LGBTQ Health Equity at Chase Brexton Health Care

The Orioles will donate tickets to THE CENTER FOR LGBTQ HEALTHY EQUITY AT CHASE BREXTON HEALTH CARE as part of their Heroes Corner program. Through healthcare services, education, training, research, and advocacy, Chase Brexton Health Care works to end health disparities that exist within LGBTQ+ communities giving patients the opportunity to live the healthiest life possible. Founded in 2021, the Heroes Corner program serves as a way for the Orioles to say thank you and show appreciation for frontline workers and volunteers in the community.

FIRST PITCH: and Aiden Phipps and Cole Philpott

PHIPPS, a pitcher at Beloit College (WI), and PHILPOTT, an outfielder at Grinnell College (IA), will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. Phipps and Philpott met and began dating when their teams played each other last season. Recognized as the 2023 Outsports Male Heroes of the Year, the couple, who came out to their teammates and families last year, were met with nothing but support. Phipps finished this past season with a 7-4 record, pitching to a 3.73 ERA, while Philpott, a Bethesda, Md. Native, appeared in 12 games, slugging .310.

PREGAME PERFORMANCE AND NATIONAL ANTHEM: The Baltimore Men’s Chorus

THE BALTIMORE MEN’S CHORUS, Maryland’s longest running LGBTQ+ performing arts organization, will perform a two-song set and their rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

GIVEAWAY: Orioles LGBTQ+ Pride Jersey

The first 10,000 fans ages 15 and over will receive an Orioles LGBTQ+ Pride Jersey.

MSABC BROOKS ROBINSON HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR GAME PRESS CONFERENCE

Participants and the families of the 2024 Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches (MSABC) Brooks Robinson Game All-Stars will take part in a pregame press conference at 10 a.m. on the sixth floor of the warehouse. Orioles legend Al Bumbry will serve as the guest speaker as the players receive their jerseys ahead of the annual Brooks Robinson High School Senior Game on July 1.

FRIDAY, JUNE 28

CITY CONNECT FRIDAY

The Orioles will wear their City Connect jerseys at each Friday home game throughout the regular season. This year, every City Connect Friday will be dedicated to Harlem Park Elementary Middle School. As part of the Orioles’ Adopt-A-School campaign, Harlem Park staff will attend batting practice and participate in pregame ceremonies. Orioles players and coaching staff will also wear Harlem Park themed batting practice shirts.

98 ROCK NIGHT

The Orioles will celebrate 98 Rock Night at Oriole Park. The night will feature a guest appearance from Rock and Roll Legend JOAN JETT, as well as meet and greets with 98 Rock talent including JUSTIN, SCOTT, and SPIEGEL from the Justin, Scott, and Spiegel Show, AMEILA from Maryland Perspectives, and MARIANNE from the Boom Boom Room with Kirk and Marianne. 98 Rock will also have a promo table and giveaways for fans at Legends Park. Rock and Roll Icon and lifelong Orioles fan, JOAN JETT, will serve as the guest splasher during the second and third innings at Friday’s game.

Rock and Roll Legend and lifelong Orioles fan, JOAN JETT will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game as part of 98 Rock Night. Last year, Jett also performed her rendition of the national anthem prior to Game 1 of the American League Division Series at Oriole Park.

Gates will open to fans two hours prior to the first pitch for every Saturday home game this season. This Saturday, JUNIPER LIGHTS, a local cover band, will perform for fans in Legends Park from 5-7 p.m. Fans can also enjoy special happy hour deals at Legends Park from 5-6 p.m., including select $5 16 oz. domestic beers as well as $2.50 soft pretzels and popcorn.

FIRST PITCH: Deonte Harty

HARTY, a Ravens wide receiver and Baltimore native, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. After graduating from Archbishop Curley, Harty attended Assumption University before going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft and ultimately signing with the New Orleans Saints. He was recognized as a First-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler in 2019 as a member of Saints, leading the NFL in punt return yards that season. He spent the 2023 campaign with the Buffalo Bills before returning home and signing with the Ravens this offseason.

HANSEN will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. She will also perform “America the Beautiful” from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh inning.

SUNDAY, JUNE 30

CARDBOARD TO LEATHER EQUIPMENT COLLECTION

The Orioles and Oriole Advocates will host an equipment collection at Oriole Park. Fans are encouraged to bring new and gently used baseball and softball equipment to Gates A, H, and D. The collection will take place one hour prior to gates opening through the end of the second inning. The Oriole Advocates will also host a silent auction on Eutaw Street in front of the Authentics Store until the end of the second inning. For nearly three decades, the Oriole Advocates have donated more than 100 tons of equipment to local communities.

MILITARY SUITES, presented by RBR-Technologies: USO Mid-Atlantic

The Orioles will invite military members and their families from USO MID-ATLANTIC to the ballpark. USO Mid-Atlantic strengthens the well-being of those serving in America’s military and their families by keeping them connected to the people, places, and things that they love. Together, the Orioles and RBR-Technologies will provide the group with a complimentary catered suite, O's themed military hats and t-shirts, and an in-game welcome.

MSABC BROOKS ROBINSON GAME TICKET DONATION

In recognition of their outstanding accomplishments, the Orioles will donate tickets to each All-Star selectee ahead of the annual Brooks Robinson High School Senior Game on July 1.

The Orioles will host a 50/50 Raffle at each regular season home game to benefit a charity in the Baltimore community and the Ted Williams Foundation, giving fans the opportunity to make a direct impact across Birdland while trying to hit the jackpot at Camden Yards. Raffle tickets may be purchased from uniformed raffle-ticket sellers and via QR codes throughout the ballpark until the end of the 7th inning. The winning number will be announced in the bottom of the eighth inning. This homestand, the 50/50 Raffles will benefit The Fund for Educational Excellence. The Fund for Educational Excellence helps Baltimore City Public Schools experience an effective and equitable education by expanding resources, identifying and accelerating solutions, and recognizing their excellence.
